Ridgeine Paint/Engine issuesl - Honda Ridgeline Paint/Engine

2006 ridgeline, clear coat is chipping and paint is fading on roof. 96,000 and the engine threw a spark plug and burned up the distributor. Othr plugs were loose indicating to me that factory didn't properly torque. If you have 3.5 engine, suggest you have plugs checked so you avoid $1000 repair I had. Honda said thy wouldn't assist as car out of warranty.
