Crescent Bank and Trust
Heartless, and Ruthless, constant harassment over car loan under $2,000

It is rare for me to write something both positive and negative in a report but here it goes. My daughter's car loan is with Crescent Bank and Trust. She only owes them about $1,100 left on her car payment. Her baby has been in the hospital for over 6 months, taking a financial toll on this family as a whole.

My car loan is with Santander Consumer USA. I mention this because they have the worse reputation for harrassing people about their car loans. And I will admit they call you repeatly, several times a day, from different phone numbers. I have gotten more sympathy and cooperation to keep me current with my loan, than my daughter has with Crescent and my car loan is 4 times more than she owes. They gave me suggestions on how and what to pay on my acct to keep them from calling so much.

Her baby sadly passed away a week ago today, and Crescent Bank repeatly, repeatly calls for her car payment. They have harrassed her everyday for months, I mean everyday even Sundays when she was not even a week late on her payment. Right now she is not even 20 days past due, and they are still calling. She gets the same fool everytime, who doesn't even know her name. He keeps talking even when he already knows the situation, he keeps asking for a bank account to do an auto withdrawal, everyday. The baby's funeral is today and I bet you they will call 7 times or more today. No one is asking for special treatment, but I hope that once the dust settles we can get them completely paid off so she never has to hear from them again.

I would get a car loan from Santander Consumer USA before I did with Crescent Bank and Trust and that should tell you something if you know anything about Santander.
