Dishinest Sales ripoff

First, the bait and switch. The salesman brought out a price, and told us it counted the $2000 in negative equity from our trade-in. When we got to the signing table this wasn't true, the price was $2000 higher than expected.

Then the warranty lie, I was told the bumper-to-bumper extended warranty was included in the price. I was charged almost $1000. The warranty is limited, and includes drive-train and a few extras, but it is not bumper-to-bumper.

Then, the LOJACK lie, when I was presented with the paper for LOJACK, I was told it was not an extra charge. "It is already in the car-like tinted windows." I got that money back shortly thereafter.

Then, after I began to complain at the signing table, they reduced the price a bit, and told me that was the lowest it would ever be. I saw the truck on the internet later that night for $400 less. Not a similar truck, that exact truck. High pressure sales, I guess partly my fault for giving in.

The final straw is I was told the truck had ABS, driving home from work two days later, I locked them up easily and slid 100 feet. No one was hurt, and no damage was done, but obviously that was a lie as well. I told them I was buying a bigger truck because I have a baby due in a few weeks. I said safety was a concern (obviously!) and they lied about ABS. The other stuff about money was all minor compared to this. Essentially, these people put my wife and daughter's lives in danger.

Of course, I blame myself for letting them pressure me, but it's a done deal. As far as I have been able to tell, all I can do now is report the slimy business practices, and never go there again.
