Disreputable and scammy

Chris evans hired me to do data entry for him. I performed the work and this can be verified by phone records, text messages and emails that Chris and I exchanged. I was to be paid weekly and submitted the hours worked each Friday.
After the first weeks check didn't come, I called and Chris told me he was traveling but would have it looked into. A 2nd call had him tell me he would get it handled after he returned from traveling.
After a good portion of the work was performed and about 2 and 1/2 to 3 weeks in, Chris quit answering emails and then changed his phone number. All of this without paying for anything.
I have sent multiple emails, left phone messages until he changed his number and I have even contacted him on his Facebook page. He hasn't responded to any of these.
I find it hard to believe this isn't intentional and he knows exactly what he is doing. I urge you to use caution in dealing with him or any of his "companies".
