First of all, this is a complaint about the Westminster, Colorado location, but since this company is not even keeping up the home website, I doubt that anything constructive will come of this. I've always believed that folks deserve a chance to make right, however, so here goes.
When we first tried Q S&L last year the service and food were great. The next time was only a month later and we took some family to show them a nice time, they seated us in a noisy central location. The acoustics were so bad that, with the constant sounds of a few different games being played too loud and other patrons having to shout at one another, it was absolutely insanely miserable and we couldn't wait to get out of there.
Nearly a year later, this last Sunday, Oct 91, we decided to try one more time. We requested seating out of the insanely discordant central area. Our salads arrived before we were even half done with the appetizer, and the meal arrived only moments after that. So we were trying to eat before it all got very cold and we were most unsuccessful.By the time we moved on to the steak, leaving a great deal of our meal uneaten, the steak and potatoes were cold. We let the waitress know that this was wrong, she told some middle bozo with an insincere smirk and he consulted with some invisible entity that decided to give us a $10 card for our next visit. We left that insult on the table when we paid in full for this disappointing waste of our ever more precious time together.
We work very hard at our own business and cannot get out together much due to schedule conflicts and just plain working our tails off trying to survive this economy. We do not get a mutual break often at all, so when we got one this time around, we decided to come to Q S&L for our treat. For our visit we were treated to untrained service (do not dare blame the waitress for being ill-trained by effete management), cold, greasy food (which went largely uneaten) and an indifferent management staff. So I must assume that your company is doing so well that it doesn't need our money. On that point, we can oblige you. We wont be coming back, and further, we will be warning others off.
Incidentally, our company troubleshoots problems. At that location, the problem is that someone upstream is not fully preparing foundational management before tossing them into the lake, bag and all. I do not care who you think you are, this is still the absolute worst way to learn how to swim.
