Bounced Payroll Checks & Refusal to Pay Employees

Recently I was employed with a company, Noodles Development, LP or the franchisor for Nothing but Noodles. While employed at Noodles Development, I got a pay check. Only to find out a week later it had bounced and over-drafted my account terrible. Never in my 13 years of employment have I ever had a PAYROLL check bounce. They tried to justify it and say "Oh sorry, that never happens". They had to go deposit cash in my bank account due to their error or lack of money.in the mean time, I am worried every time I get paid, wondering if my check will go through. Since my payroll check had bounced, they couldn't seem to get my pay right. I don't know about anyone else, but pay is a fairly important part of a job. It's why you work there. I had deductions for this, I had deductions for that. The little extra they deposited as cash in my account to pay for overdraft fees and finance charges, they decided to take back from my next paycheck. For 4 payroll periods there were random deductions/adjustments made to my pay. When I finally had enough of this incompetence and financial stupidity, I decided to quit my job after yet another deduction/adjustment to my check. With Arizona being a "Right to Work" State, neither I nor the employer needs to give any advance notice of any kind of termination to employment. I feel, with such an unprofessional company, they didn't deserve a notice. Now that I had resigned from my position and was still entitled to 3 days pay, I get an email from the most unprofessional one saying that he is not going to pay me for the time I worked, that I am entitled to. Ever since the beginning of my employment, it was a very shady company to work for. They said I would have a great benefits package and I would get a week's paid vacation along with five sick days. My first day of employment, I asked about this so-called great benefits package. The owner couldn't even answer questions about what he called a great benefits package. Come to find out later from a co-worker, it was not great and the cost came out of our pay, only to be reimbursed by the company. Is that reimbursement check going to bounce like their payroll checks? Are they even going to get you reimbursed in a reasonable amount of time? Probably not. As far as my week's vacation, it was not until after I was hired that they said I didn't get that sick or vacation time till after a year. Most "Professional" companies will state whether you get the time off and when you will get it. They also say, "We're really laid back". So laid back they don't give you any guidelines to work by. And when you do something that you think is laid back within their guidelines, they yell at you and say you can't do that, even when the rest of the employees are doing it with no consequences. And yet they never tell you what is right or wrong in the first place. This is probably the most unprofessional environment I have ever worked in.
