Root 5 Waterfront Resturant
Poor Service, Terrible food

Recently I went to Root 5 Waterfront Resturant. My boyfriend and I were looking for some drinks and something to snack on.

The bartender clearly did not know what she was doing. It appeared that she was WAY too busy speaking to her male freind at the bar. Even before I could order, another customer complained that she made a drink wrong. I over heard a "fizzy bloody mary." The blond bartenders response was

It must have been the vodak (??? What???).

Already I had a feeling the woman had never been behind a bar. Well, anyway. I proceed to order the drinks and 2 items from the bar menu. Loaded fries and a crab cake sandwhich.

The bartender brought over the food. She AGAIN was too damn busy soicalizing she spilled the cup of ranch dressing all over the table, the floor and me. She was a jerk at thispoint and barked to us she would be right back. Point blank... The girl was horrible. The owner saw her fumble. He walked away. I HAD TO CLEAN THIS UP! The bartender did bring back the re-filled cup of ranch dressing... It was all over the place. She didn't even have enough common sense to bring a towel
over to clean ANYTHING! The owner eventually came over with a rag to clean the floor around the table.
Said Bartender... Went back to talking to her "friend."

I start to eat my crab cake sandwhich. I have ordered this sandwhich there before. However, the crab meat (not a cake) was shoved in a red pepper and throw on a bun?!?! Ok, maybe it's just a change. The crab meat was rotten, it had dirt in it... I can not even be sure if it was cooked. I took one bit and had to spit it out. My boyfriend nicely asked for the food to be removed and taken off the bill. The owner can over and asked what was wrong. I told him "it was terrible." He asked if I wanted anything else... No way. He gave the complete impression he did not care. We finished the fries and beers and left. Paid for what we should... NO TIP!

Beware. This bar, resturant, sports bar, fine dining, WHATEVER this strange place is any given week... It is going down hill.
