Kidney Transplant Father Ordered Mild Chicken, Received Hot Twice

My parents and I went to get our dinner at Popeyes. We ordered a family box, sides of mashed potatoes with gravy separate, and mild chicken. I also ordered 4 pieces of chicken, 2 legs and 2 wings, for my father. He recently had a kidney transplant, and he likes the chicken mild and eats only the chicken, not the skin. He for sure needs mild. As we ordered, I asked the girl to repeat it and she did, and all was correct.

When we got to the window to pick up the chicken, they asked if we could pull over because they had no mild chicken ready and it would take 5 minutes or so. After waiting almost 10 minutes (fast food, forget it), they handed me my family box, and I asked if it was mild or hot. She told me mild. I opened the box and it was hot. After waiting longer, they gave me my father's pieces, and only two were in the box when there should have been 4 pieces. It was a total mess. Three girls and a guy were actually laughing. I could not believe it. They gave me a new bag, and I checked my dad's food and it was finally okay. We went home.

When I opened my family pack, the chicken was hot again. I could not believe it. I threw it in the garbage and cooked eggs for my family. It was a complete joke. I love the chicken, but their employees, and this is not the first time, are terrible.

I was humiliated and laughed at. I called my father because if he ate hot chicken it could have really hurt him. He told me his was fine. Thank goodness. We will not be going back anytime soon, that is for sure.
