I am going through the same thing. I did not know that EMC was foreclosing on me until we received a call from one of our credit card companys telling me they were suspending my credt card because of an forclosure. I was like "Forclosure" who forclosing? I called EMC and found out that they have a sale date set for December 8. I was beside myself. I set up what ever payment plan they wanted and sent them whatever money they wanted. I am now instructed to send in an additional $1,500 by the 29 of November. If I dont, then I loose my house. I NEVER received any notices, any phone calls from EMC, or even spoke to anyone regarding this matter. Can this be happining? I have never been in this position before nor do I want to be in this position. I am scared after reading all the stories on this web site. I DONT want to loose my house. I am going to notify the Banking commision to see if something can be done about EMC. EMC stands for Every Mortgage ForeCLOSED!
