This company is trying to collect a debt for Verizon Wireless that was discharged in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. When I informed them of the fact, they said it was my problem. The man was very rude and I hung up. When I called back he told me I was harassing him at work and that I should just pay the bill and not worry about it because it was being reported on my credit report.

How can we get this type of collection agencies stopped. They don't follow the FTC guidelines or any other guidelines. I had previously notified them and was told they would note my account and I wouldn't receive anymore letters but they lied. Now, I want the harassment stopped. Help!!!
