SCAM fraudulant by means of checking account

I Recieved a call from a person imposing to be affiliated w / Federal Govt. This Person, with a middle eastern dialect, said that the Fed. Govt. Was going to issue me a grant of $8000.00 and a fee of $257.00 would be electronicallly drafted from my checking account. These people are very good at what they are doing... They are liars and are out to hurt you financially.

Know that if they know your account#, according to my bank, they will be able to take out any amount at any time. So close your account if you have given your account # out to someone your not sure of.

I've learned a valuable lesson,

1- cant trust something that seems to be to good and

2- my own bank will honor anything before they honor what I, their client, have to say... Getting to the point where i'm gonna put my $ under the old mattress!
