Check and Filing Services They have your SS#/PAYDAY LOAN SCAM/WARRANT FOR YOUR ARREST Depew

They claim to be with CCR & Associates and left me a message I was going to be served papers in the next 24-48 hours on a warrant for check fraud. When I called back the directory sounds like they're a Law Firm. I pressed "1" and some lady answered with "hello" instead of a company name or such. The "liaison" had my info that was at least 9 years old, but I was more disturbed by the fact he could recite my SS# BACK TO ME! He says something about a case number, which I have no knowledge of, He then tells me it's a pay day loan from 2003! The original loan was for $600 and now it's $890, and that I need to pay by pre-paid CC or a Bank draft. He said he was willing to work with me on payment options and I only owed the $600 not the extra fees.

This scam is Nationwide. I have sent in the info to the BBB, FTC, ICG. If you deal with this too, report them immediately.
