Turbo Tax
INTUIT Never had a problem in the past, but

Business & Finance

I have used Turbo Tax for some years. Never had any problems. When I didn't receive my refund, I contacted the IRS. I was told that the amount was deposited to my account on XX-XX-XXXX. I double-checked with my bank and got a hard copy of my transactions. I let the IRS know about my search and I am still awaiting a letter from THEM. I called them back today, got a routing # and bank account #, both of which are WAY off the mark. Turns out, those go to Bancorp. Tried to call them, but got the menu run-around. Tried to call Turbo Tax. Their office is closed.?! At 11 AM? I'll probably try to ring them again shortly.
I have always found that talking nicely to the person on the other end of the phone works better than ranting and raving. But I have to say, my patience is wearing very thin.
I also have always been a trusting person but I have sadly found more and more that there are less and less reasons to trust nearly anyone anymore. And that those of us who choose to trust get shafted.
We're all victimized at one time, form or another. It's really ridiculous that we have to fear for what we've earned.
I think that I will, from here-on out, do my taxes the old-fashioined way. This paper thing. Perhaps I will walk into the IRS office and hand the guy/gal my return in person. Wait for them to process what is rightly mine.
