Wells Fargo
Ripoff checks not cashed tried to settle account for less money

Business & Finance

I have had problems with WF since I opened an account with them last year. I had a promo at 1 year no interest, and I sent in payments every month, and then we wouldn't recieve bills, and we called in to get it straightened out and they said that we hadn't made any payments at all. So we sent in two checks certified mail of 250 dollars a piece, which they said today they never recieved. So the customer service rep told me that he was willing to settle the account for 250, but it would place a "settled in full" on our credit, which we refused since this wasn't our fault anyways.

Then he said he would take off all the interest and late fees? And start the account at the original loan amount but we would have to still pay any fees or interest after the date we talked on the phone. So after about 2 hours of talking, I agreed just to get this issue over with. One word of advice from a minister of God - Don't get credit at all - its a bad thing to do - but if you do, do not get credit with this lying cheating stealing bank. I pray if you read this that something will work out for you.
