Electric bill

Port Folio Recovery called me and said they bought my old electric bill from Toledo Edison Company and that Toledo Edison would not be handling it and that I need to speak directly with them. I told them I do not owe a back bill and to stop calling and 2 different people that said we do not have to and we will call you until this debt is resolved. I called Toledo Edison and they looked at all of accounts and told me that none of my accounts are out standing and this company does a same name game hoping that you will pay the bill of some one that has the same name as you, but is not you!!!

And this is the case in this case and when confronted with this information they said after i gave them the last 4 of my SSAN they said that was not the SSAN they have and I would not be bothered again.
According to Toledo Edison they look for the first person with that name and thats who they assign the case to that phone number and harrass you until you pay them. But if you tell them you had contact with the origanal creditor then all of a sudden its not your SSAN and will stop them from calling you.
