AT&T Universal Cash Rewards Card
Lies & trickery for balance transfers if you use their card RIPOFF

The second statement from AT&T Universal Cash Rewards Card charged me 10.24% interest after claiming their card was 0% on balance transfers until May 1 - even though I paid off my monthly purchases plus 1/6th toward the transferred amount before the due date.

I learned from my 9/19/04 phone call to them that this is because they apply ALL PAYMENTS to the balance transfer and charge you interest on new purchases if you use their card.

This was not stated in the promotional materials received in the mail, nor by the agent on the phone when signing up for the card.

This is fraud & trickery. Don't use at&t.
