I would like to add more later: However for now: This hateful company is the most crooked horrible NIGHTMARE place on this earth. My home was valued $41k more than the worth. I could pay on this house for 250 and not pay it off. I hate them so much. I went through a consumer advocate group to get help as I was served foreclosure papers.

I stopped the foreclosure the first time. The second time I had to get help. NO attorney would help me, stating it was my fault and all. That was wrong. The consumer group got Ameriquest to get an appraisal. HA HA I was right all along. I got an honest appraisal company THIS time. The other appraisal compny kept jacking up the value for AQuest at their request.
I got a settlement of $35k on my house to either refinance or sell the home.

Then... MORE trouble. They had a man I was to work with then all of a sudden I got the Head Nightmare man to do this. He kept changing the rules stating who could buy it, I couldn't stay in my home, etc. We were to close a week ago this past Tues. Then DS stopped it again, wanting a HUD report which he received 3 mo previous. Then, MORE... He said to my Mortgage broker he stopped the 5th sheriff's sale on Sept 7. He did not. NO one at the sale was allowed to bid on any Ameriquest's dealings.

NOW: I have a GOOD HONEST Lawyer who is filing a Chapter 13 before the final hearing on Sept 22. I am doing this Monday. To protect my home. They took down my credit score over 300 points, I NEVER had any problems with previous lender. I cannot believe I have fought this HORRIBLE Nightmare for 2 years.

I do plan on suing the you know what out of them when we have satisfied the judgment and papers are signed.
I am going with www.naca.net National Association of Consumer Advocates. They ATTACK.

I hope to hear back from any of you who got ripped off and the man who wrote stating the truth about this horrible company. I bet he never wished he worked for them.

I'm getting a used car, because of my bad credit now. The owner told me that Ameriquest approaced him about working there. He said it felt VERY wrong and he said no, he had another job. After what I told him, he was glad he listed to his conscience.
