Rip-off!

Business & Finance

These people contacted me a on 9/1/04 on my cell phone! I was in the middle of a meeting with my finacnial advisor when I got a call from some girl named allison. She said she was calling in regards to a Mastercard I had applied for. I told her to call back in about 30 minutes when I was finished with my meeting, and she actually did.

She went on and on about some credit card with a 2500 dollar limit and a one time 300 dollar membership fee. I knew almost within the first few minutes this had to be a scam, but just to entertain myself I let her ramble on and on and on. She asked for the name of my bank, so I fed her a line of BS (I just made up a name). At this point I was staying on the line just to see if I could get any information about the company.

I guess from my condesending tone of voice with her, she knew I wasnt going to fall for it. She then asked me for my bank account number. I laughed and told her she could have my account number when snow flakes start falling in hell. She then hung up on me. The funny thing is that they tried to contact me another two times after that! Dont fall for them people!
