I had this lady call me and she gave me a bunch of bull that I had won a raffle for a computer, she said that I couldnt have the computer unless I was a mastercard holder and also pay 354.09 in advanced. She then told me that they can approve me for a mastercard with a 2500 dollar credit limit. That should of been a flag right there! There is no such thing as just a MASTERCARD!
There has to be a bank with it, like Citi mastercard for example. Well I asked her who she was with, and she said MASTERCARD! Well after I had given her all my info she gave me a customer service number and a confirmation number. Well luckily it was a saturday, I called Mastercard asked them if they are associated with this other company, and they said no its a scam. So I called my bank to put a stop on any withdrawls out of my account. I called the customer service number it took me 20 min to get someone on the phone! Once I had contacted someone I asked them what company they were with and they said First link Benefits.
Then I went online while I was on the phone with the guy to the BBB website, and read that they have an unsatisfactory report with them. I told him that I was not interested and I would like to cancel. They asked me why and I told them because I went to the BBB website and saw that they are a bad company. He told me that he had canceld it. I dont believe them, I think they will try to get the money out of my account, but they wont because im closing my account and opening up a new one. And if this happens to you I would advise to do the same thing.
