I received a phone call at 8:00 AM this morning from them wanting to know when I was going to "pay my bill?" Since I was woke up by them I had no idea what she was talking about. She said I owed them over $100! I told her I didn't owe them anything - I had paid the full amount of the bill when I received it. She said "YES, you do owe us!" in a very rude voice. I told her I didn't owe them anything and hung up.

After getting "my morning coffee", I checked my records and had not received anyhing from them since my bill dated 2/7. I paid the full amount of purchases shown on the bill on 3/1.

When I tried to call them back, it took me FOUR times before I could actually get someone. There were only two (2) options to choose from and neither option applied to my situation.

When it asked if I need to speak to an agent, the recording said to press "0", which I did on two separate occasions. When I called the third time and was asked if I wanted to know my credit card info, I said "no" and then I get a recording stating my balance with the "past due fees and finance charges".

When I finally got a "live" person, I asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told I couldn't talk to one, I had to talk to her first. After i complained, she transferred me to a supervisor. The supervisor was not interested at all in my concerns about getting through to a "live" person. All he kept saying was he need to get this "debt" cleared up first.

I explained everything to him again and he kept disputing my records. I told him I had not received a bill since February. After talking for about 10 minutes, he then asked me to verify my address. Then he says they sent me a bill in March & April - which I have not received!

He told me I owed late fees of $30 per month and finance charges making my total bill OVER $100 for a bill that he said was originally for $44.98!!

I repeatedly try to clear up the matter by explaining my understanding of my purchase, but all he wanted to do was "clear up my debt" and "get my payment" for the amount owed. He said he would "waive all charges/fees, IF I paid the amount owed then. But was unwilling to address any of my other issues/concerns until that was taken care of.

I told him I would not pay anything until I talked with the company where I had made my purchase. He told me I had until the end of the day to call them back and "pay my debt"!!!

This company is rude, obnoxious and does not care about their "customer". To me, they were trying to "scam" me by adding these "late fees/charges".

I have had dealings with this same company over 20 years ago and they would delay posting my payments until the payment was "past due" in order to access late fees on my account. Even though I had records to prove the money had actually cleared my bank account prior to the due date.

I feel companies should not be allowed to call anyone at 8:00 AM! I had just woken up and was unprepared for this type of "abuse" and rudeness.
