They needed my social security numbe

Madden Press published in my experience and stated that I gained a visit to Florida. To be able to get the journey I had a need to provide them with my social security number. I wrote for them and informed them used to do not feel comfortable delivering these details. They wrote me back and stated that they're likely to provide the visit to another person. Why do they require my social security number? Personally I think this is just a FRAUD. I've gained additional excursions and awards plus they never once questioned me for my social security number.
