Electronic payment fee, 8 to 10 daily calls, no payment reduction

When I got my car loan, I was dealing with Fifth Third Bank and was reasonably happy with it. Well, Fifth Third Bank sold my loan to Santander, and the experience has been night and day. First of all, I do all my bill paying electronically; I find it easier for my lifestyle. With Santander I have to pay an extra ten dollars in order to pay electronically, which I find to be ridiculous in this day and age.

Also, they begin harassing me if my payment is as little as three days late. We're talking about 8 to 10 calls a day, and it doesn't matter how many times you explain the situation to them, they will keep calling until they get the payment. Not to mention they are ALWAYS rude to me when I deal with them. They cut me off when I am trying to talk, and everything is said in an angry tone.

When I used their online chat because I was looking into a payment reduction modification, since I've been going through some financial difficulties, they refused to work with me on it in any way. They told me they wouldn't do anything for me and said goodbye even though I had a few more questions. I absolutely cannot stand this company, and I would highly advise against doing business with them.
