Using paypal green dot they scam by collecting money off card and you can't trace them

I had applied for a loan and received a phone call from a representative (now I know it wasn't the same company) they discussed my credit and that I should get a better rate and they could do it for a small fee. I was hesitant and followed directions. They instructed me to get a green dot card which is a loadable card. I got the visa they needed the paypal one. I then new something was wrong money is money right! But paypal money green dot is not traceable. So anyone demanding only being paid by a green dot paypal card beware. You cannot trace the transaction once the money transfer is made. If it wasnt for my gut saying Stop something is wrong. Again green dot paypal is the bad card.
