Just one blunder after another! Ripoff Atlanta

As all you Greenpoint Credit customers know, there are multiple locations for Greenpoint Credit offices. It is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to the same person twice. I was reading the different compaints, and wasn't supprised at all.

Since the second year of my home loan, I have had multiple problems. From having them say I have insufficient funds in my account, to one "customer service rep." drafting funds from my roomate's account WITHOUT HIS AUTHORIZATION. We had used his account to pay a previous payment.

Later that year, I opened an account with the same bank. Since I work night shift, I was half asleep when the rep. Called me at eight thirty one morning. I told them that I would pay by check. He asked me if I still banked with %. I told him yes, not thinking that he didn't ask me for an account number, or nothing. He charged my roomate's account with my name at the bottom. To make things worse, the bank cashed it, resulting in several overdraft fees in his account.

The bank was kind enough to refund the fees, but when I FINALLY got ahold of "Alonzo", the rep. Out of Georgia, he rudely rejected the pure POSSIBILITY that it was his falt. He even refused to listen to the recording of the phone call. I asked to be transfered to a supervisor, and, of course, got transfered to voicemail. He never returned my call.

Isn't it also amazing that they can seem to call at ANY TIME, DAY OR NIGHT, WEEKEND OR WEEKDAY, but you can't get call them outside of Mon.-Fri. 9-5? One rep. Called on a Sunday afternoon. When my roomate enquired that he didn't know that they called on Sunday's, he was met with this reply; "What difference does it make, you didn't go to church anyway." Come to find out that he didn't even need to be calling.

I had Western Union'ed the money the previous Friday, with my next month's payment (IN THE SAME TRANSACTION). They had posted the previous month's payment, but waited until that Monday to posted the next month's. I guess this was for the five dollar late charge.

Anyhow, I'll close now. You get the picture. It's been one hastle after another, EVERY MONTH. Just remember, don't even try to explain anything, because even though the SAY they notate it to your account, THEY DON'T. The phone calls will keep coming. Only 15 more years to go!
