I am so sick of dealing with these rude, threatening people. I was told today that my account was "in jeopardy" because I was ONE month behind - ONE month! I had been working with someone named Kay. I spoke with her two weeks ago. I made a payment over the phone which I told them to go ahead and take out immediately. The payment didn't come out for 5 days yet it was URGENT when they called. The repo man was "on his way'! So I agreed to call Kay back in two weeks to make another regular payment and then obtain a two month extension so we could have a little breathing space to catch up on other bills and get back on track.

Since Friday evening, when I was out of town, I have been getting threatening phone calls. They stated that "if you don't call today, it is out of my hands" and "your account is in jeopardy and you have 48 hours to respond or we will foreclose immediately." I was out of town - it was the weekend!!! I was told to call today which I did and lo and behold, NO ONE had ever heard of Kay. And their 'system' has suddenly changed - AGAIN!

Every time I call I get the same excuse... They are using a 'new, improved system'. Makes me wonder if I really am behind on my payments at all. Every time I ask, they can't give me and exact answer. Now I am waiting on a call back from Linda, my NEW account manager, to see if she will give me the two month extension that Kay promised me. Juliette, Linda's lackey, said that Kay must have worked for GreenPoint and that GreenTree has now, just recently purchased out contracts. Kay told me she was with GREEENTREE in Baton Rouge. Now I don't even know where I am calling... Probably Memphis. All of this crap over being late ONE month!

Also, in the past, GreenPoint AND GreenTree have both called members of my family leaving threatening, rude messages on their answering machines. My mother-in-law finally had enough of it and called them back and threatened to get a lawyer if they didn't take her phone number off their records. I will know today if she has gotten any more calls from the Linda/Juliette team.

How can they possibly keep it all straight when they are constantly reassigning accounts.By the way, I mentioned this to Juliette when I called and she stated that "we are not giving you the runaround... We have just been assigned your account effective as of February 1st so you should have been dealing with us in the first place." Liar!!!

When I spoke with Kay on January 28th, she did NOT mention any new account assignment. She also stated that she was with GREENTREE... Not GreenPoint. So frustrating!!!
