IRS interest erro

For 2010 IRS income tax purposes, we received a Form 1098 for a Money Market account... And additionally... interest income for a US SVG bond. We do not, nor did we, have US savings bonds.

Upon calling the phone number for inquiries (1-888-762-1099), I was eventually connected with Kyle Lamont (877-762-8000) who researched the matter and said that she did not find a record for the SVG account number given. She was to send a letter of correction/amended form. I was waiting for the letter (having phoned Ms. Lamont and left a reminder on her answering machine) before filing our 2010 income tax. Nothing.

In April of I wrote to PNC Bank stating the above facts. Nothing. On February 24th of I spoke with an employee (724-942-6090) who was to intercede and resolve the issue. Nothing. I am now preparing to file income tax for 2011. I want/need the 1098 error correction by the NINTH of March. IT HAS BEEN IN EXCESS OF ONE YEAR THAT THIS REMAINS UNRESOLVED.'Devon' of PNC 724-942-6090 has said that 'he put in a request' for the correction.

The 9th comes; the 9th goes... Nothing.
