Sovereign Bank
Checking account closed and reported to ChexSystems over $165 overdraft

This Bank is terrible. I had a checking account with them, my account got overdrawn. I tried to resolve it with them. Then without notice they closed my account and reported it to ChexSystems. I went in to the branch in Worcester, Mass.
I tried to explain to the branch manager that I was almost in the hospital due to a major medical condition. They didn't care. They said there nothing we can due but you can call this phone number. So, I called that number many times to square away this issue. No one answered. So, I went into a branch again was rudely treated. I complained then received a letter from a collection agency. This is on a 165.00 bill.
I can't imagine what they would be like if I owed a mortgage or car loan to them. I want to warn other people so this doesn't happen to them. They have one of the worst customer service ratings I have ever seen on the internet and have experienced myself. This is a very bad business to deal with. I have been unable to resolve this issue from day 1 now its 6 months later. They couldn't even give me a corporate address or legal dept address. If you value your credit dont deal with this bank...
