They seem to forget what they have told you

I had obtained a mortgage through Ford which morphed into Citi FInancial Mortgage by way of Associates. Losing my job almost 2 years ago, I ahve foudn it difficult to keep the payments current. When it got far enough behind I started getting the demanding letters and phone calls, which I learned to ignore becasue either they didn't hear what I was telling them, or they were incapable of speaking English clearly. Then the foreclosure notice came with the standard set of addresses where I could get help in my state.

I applied for the state program, was accepted and am awaiting disbursement of the funds as I type this. But I still get the threatening letters.in many of them they do not even have the address of the property correct. I wrote and told them that I didn't own a property at the specific address they had in their official notice, which I got in triplicate, all on the same day.

Two months later I got a notice with the correct address but now they are back to the wrong one again. They will have a hard time enforcing a foreclosure order, if it comes to that, if they can't even get the address right.
