Ripoff fraudulent billing and unable to be contacted

We are a small cottage industry that made the mistake of choosing PAYRIGHT for our merchant service. It came to our attention in September that PAYRIGHT was over charging us to the tune of 300.00 dollars. At that time we brought this to the attention if a JO ANN CONTI, the finance manager for PAYRIGHT. We provided her with all the documentation needed to show the over charges.

We were then told by Jo Ann Conti that our figures were WRONG. After this we could not get her to take or return a call. We then turned to dealing with another representative from PAYRIGHT locate in Florida. After many weeks of aggravation and persistence we finally received a total refund and decided to cancel our service as we felt like they were NOT a reputable Company. The service was cancelled in September.

In October we noticed they withdrew a monthly fee for a service non rendered, we brought this to their attention. On October 26th we suffered the loss of two children in an auto accident, due to the crisis we were not closely watching our bank statement. Upon review in June we found they were withdrawing 15.00 each month and we had cancelled the service 9 MONTHS PRIOR. On June 2 we notified a Payright representative named Julie at the Florida branch of the fraudulent charges, she assured me someone would get back with me... No one did. We then went to PAYRIGHT'S website www.payright.com and tried contacting them thru the 800 number listed (866-729-7444) only to be greeted by a busy signal. 24 hours a day.

We used the only other avenue we had, their fax number (973-904-3325) Everyday for 1 week we faxed a letter explaining our problem along with 14 pages of documentation from our local bank showing the fraudulent monthly withdrawals. On June 14th we received a copy of our fax returned with a note in large letters OUT OF BUSINESS _ CALL JULIE. At that time we contacted ACH COMMERCE (800-724-8780) which is the processing company for PAYRIGHT. They we very polite, professional and requested that we send to them all documentation. My local bank advised us to contact the Attorney Generals office. Perhaps this company went "out of business" yesterday... Perhaps not. Perhaps they are just laying low and will rear their head in a new location with a new name. This company needs to be STOPPED and all the people responsible for the fraud need to be held accountable.
