Online Banking sent money from our account to the wrong company ripoff

Washington Mutual Bank Online Banking sent a paper check from our account to the wrong company for a payment that was supposed to have been made to our mortgage holder.
Someone from Washington Mutual stuffed the wrong envelope with one of our payments and sent it to a company in another city. The company cashed the check and to this date, 3 months later, we have never been reimbursed for our $250.00. Our mortgage company has never received their money either.
Washington Mutual has done nothing but try to place the blame on us!
