Pecific Complaint: September 29 I received a flyer from Lexington Mortgage offering a re-finance on our home. I believed it was from our bank that has the current mortgage. Their name is in tiny tiny print at the bottom of the card but the name of my bank is in bold letters at the top with my name. I gave the agent both my social security number and my husband's also, address, dob and I am sick now that I have read the complaints against them. I tried to call them back today but they refused to even tell me the name of the company at the same number and hung up on me. The agent I spoke with last night did call me back and apologized but at this point, I believe they are operating a fraud operation, then I looked at the complaints on the internet and there it is. A lot of them. Now I am terrified that I am going to be a victim of some kind of fraud with this. When I called back to speak with someone, a female just answered, client services' and refused to give the name of the company, then hung up on me. That number I called was 1 877 575 6340 Please tell me how to prevent this fraud company from using my credit information. Please.
