Mortgage Modification Misrepresentation

I contacted my mortgage company for a loan modification, gave them my information and was told someone would call me back. A few hours later TMMLG called me and said that they had my loan file and would be working with me to "litigate" a new lower mortgage payment under the Obama Plan. On 12/11 I paid the entire fee of $2750 to "expedite" my case by their senior litigation specialists. After almost a month I am getting the run around by these people. I called my mortgage company, Sovereign Bank, and found that nothing is going on with my mortgage modification. They said that TMMLG could not do anything that I can't do on my own, with no fees whatsoever.in fact they said if I had just contacted them, the modification would be almost completed by now. Somehow TMMLG obtained my mortgage loan information and presented to me that they were working with Sovereign Bank to modify my mortgage expeditiously. They prey on home owners trying to save their homes and somehow were able to obtain my loan information shortly after I called Sovereign Bank. Sovereign Bank says they do not give out loan information to third party processors. I would not have spoken with TMMLG unless I believed they had been contacted by Sovereign Bank. TMMLG works out of St Petersburg Florida and Mericopa Arizona and may be affliated with a Timothy M Stoll, a mortgage originator from Minnesota who is operating under four different business names in Arizona. I have asked for my money back. I feel they misrepresnted their role with respect to Sovereign Bank. I also want my files back that contain all my personal and banking information collected for the purpose of loan modification. I have all the email communication and would be happy to forward it to any state or federal investigating agency.
