Holding Insurance Check From tornado damage - Insurance claim

Bank Of America has had in its holding my insurance check for tornado related damages to our home, issued from the insurance company. Travelers issued the check almost 2 months ago for in excess of $20,000 to be issued to myself and wife. BOA has not released 1 cent even though there own inspector indicated the work was 100% done. My family has payed almost $8,000 of our own money to pay off services that were done to complete repairs. We called last Friday and said check would be issued on Monday. We called on Thursday because on check had arrived. We were told clerk made a "mistake" and funds should be realeased the following day. BOA has offered no compensation, even though they admit mistakes were made. As so as this mess is cleared up I will be taking my mortgage elsewhere. They should be ashamed of how they want to hold back customers funds just to gain a little more intrest for themselves.
