Mongo - Money on the Go
Offered me a too good to be true credit card and charged me $99 to open it only to find out the card was a pre paid one - so no additional credit and No refund on my money

Business & Finance

On August 18 I applied for credit cards. I had a bankruptcy about 2 years ago and wanted to rebuild credit. MonGo contacted me and promised to help build my credit and to provide me an open line of credit for 2500$.
They also said they would provide me gas vouchers worth more then the 99$.
They also said I could cancel with a refund with in 30 days.
I canceled with in 25 days. After receiving my initial information from the company.

The customer service person was delighted to report I would not be receiving any money back;
had no explanation as to where the gas vouchers were;
and
was about as rude and self righteous as anyone could sound.

I went to the site (now this is after I received their mailing, 24 days after I completed my sign up.
They claim to provide discounts on items. A GPS System available anywhere at 170$ cost $320 on their site. Its sort of like fingerhut for online shoppers.

The credit card is a pre paid one, so no additional money available to you.

There is no line of credit, unless you have 2500$ to put on your card.

I hope that someone investigates and shuts these folks DOWN - when you google this company on the net, it is list after list of unsuspecting buyers who believe they have been cheated by this company.
