Closed Long-Held CD After Unreturned Calls, Then $30 Charges

After banking with this bank for 27 years, my 33K CD was coming due. I called the number on my statement and was told a Mike Eudy would get back to me. Two days later I called again, and this time I did speak to Mike. He said he would have to look into the rate for me and would call back. It is now 7 days after maturity. I called again and was told he was busy and would call back. I told the girl to make sure that CD didn't roll over, as I was taking my money out of this bank.
When I got my check, the lady said it would change my accounts, but she would make the changes and everything would be fine. I have 3 other accounts and a 5K CD with them.
When my statements arrived on 2 of the accounts, there was a $30.00 service charge. One account had a balance of $2,770. The other had $287.00 plus an overdraw of $20,000 on it. No explanation was given for the charges except that the accounts had not been changed at all.
Colette McMurray, whom we saw on Monday, said they should have been changed. Well, it's too late, and $60.00 is down the drain.
Both my husband and I are senior citizens and business leaders in our community, and we sure wouldn't have any business if we treated our clients like this.
I have removed my business account, a rental account, an escrow account, personal checking, safety deposit box, savings account and 1 CD.
I will miss the tellers that I have known for years. The management, not one bit.
