Wow super shady company! Go with them and i guarantee you will get screwed

I initiated a mortgage loan with Everbank mortage on 11/01/10 with a Good Faith Estimate of 5.125% interest rate and no points and a promise by them to get everything done in 30 days. I sent back all of the paperwork in a timely matter and waited.

A week before we were to close, a called them to get the loan documents so we could get funded on time. They assured me everything was fine and that all the paper would be ready tomorrow.

Finally, ON THE DAY OF CLOSING, as I'm packing to move, They call me in the morning saying that we have a problem. They now tell me I have to pay an extra point because our home is listed as a CONDO rather than a townhome and that I recently switched jobs.

Don't let them get you. Don't deal with this shady group. I'm just sorry I didn't read these other consumer complaints earlier.
