Ripoff! Deceptive Lending! Miami

I was working with Mr Hornberg on a loan for my new purchase. I got worried once I read the information posted here about him. I asked about getting some basic information about the loan - good faith estimate and rate lock sheet. Each time, he would put off sending any information. He would not even estimate when he was to send the information.

I sent him almost all of the paperwork required for my loan. He still stalled on sending me his written paperwork. When I asked about it, he said he would put it in the mail soon without providing a date. I stated all other lenders would send the estimate and rate lock right away he gave a vague answer about multiple paperwork and not wanting to send it more than once.

We decided that his deal was too shady. We called him to end the deal. He was very rude and threatened to charge us. He would not send back the information we sent to him. Nor, would he guarantee that he would properly destroy he documents we sent to him. Hopefully, this will not lead to identify theft.
