About 4 years ago I opened a savings and checking account with B of A. I bounced a check and they charged me $20 and
tried to get the money from saving that had no money in it, and charged another $20 for that transaction. They resubmitted the check the next day and charged another $40. I saw on the internet what they had done so I talked to the branch manager to close my accounts, she told me I could not close them because of a negative balance. They refused to cooperate with me and told me, "that's just the way its done". I find on my credit report that I owe B of A $216.41. I'm not sure how many times they resubmitted that check. I talked to the corporate office today and they told me that I had signed a paper when opening the accounts that I would have to pay certain fees. I asked them to look in to this matter but they only would say its in collections and even if I pay them off it will still be on my credit.
