No Return or help - return or exchange faulty product

Received a laptop bag as a gift. Zipper quit working on second or third use. It was an 80.00 bag. Tried to return but did not have receipt. Would not take back or even offer store credit. They said I had to have a receipt or they would do nothing.
This is just one more event in long list of poor customer service, waiting for assistance while employees pass you by... More than once. I will never shop at the store again.in our household, we have 2 laptops (PC) 3 laptops (Mac) and 1 desktop (PC) as well as multiple gaming systems and flat screen TV's. There are other businesses where we can buy movies, games, accessories and replacement computers that do not treat you in the negative manner that Fry's does. Fry's says visit them on Facebook... OK I will do that. But there will be nothing good to say unless this is handled to my satisfaction. Fry's is going to squabble over an 80.00 return in exchange for the loss of a customer? And that customer telling everyone they know about their negative experience. There is no marketing that will overcome a personal negative testimonial. I am in the service industry. If I or my staff served customers in this manner, I would be out of business... How long will it take Fry's?
