Poor Exchange policy - Cashier Customer Svce

I was trying to exchange a gift given for christmas without a receipt. I was unable to do this at Dollar Tree. I only shop at stores that offer good return/exchange policies. Coldwater Creek is one of the store I shop frequently and buy over 5-10$K merchandise because of this yearly. Dollar tree has poor return/exchange policies and i do not recommend anyone
to shop there. I would rather return the gift back to the person that gave it to me and say please do me a favor and do not shop there ever again. The clerks give poor service, do not smile, dress unprofessionally and smell like cigarette smoke.
