Imperial Benefits
Ripoff fraudulent Master Card promised & not received

Business & Finance

1/09/04 Contacted about receiving a #3,000.00 limit Master Card with no annual fee, no late payment charges, good for 4 years before having to renew, and increases in limit every 6 months depending on spending all for the price of $279. I spoke with Chris Parker.

I was skeptical so I requested more information and a customer phone #. He gave me the cust. Service # 1-866-233-2688 and also a verification #. I post-dated the withdrawal until 1/12/04 so that I could call the cust. Service # and verify legitimatcy of co.

The cust. Service personnel stated that this # was for one of several companies that they serviced and that Imperial Benefits was indeed a legitimate business.

I called several times inquiring about not receiving my card w/in 4 wks. And was told that it is on it's was and to wait a few days. I did receive a package from them which included a lot of papers on how to repair credit, a gift certificate for merchandise and a coupon savings book, and an application for another $39.95 for my master card.

I called three times on 2/17/04 to inquire about all the paper stuff and no master card promised on 1/09/04. I was hung up twice by the same person (which denied this) and then I spoke w / Sam Baday (?). I requested to speak w / supervisor or manager. He stated that he would be in a meeting until 2:30pm EST.
