Invalid collections harrassment - customer complaint

My 78 year old widowed mother has a excellent credit history. 5 years ago someone got hold of her BoA credit and ran up a 3000.00 bill. She contacted BoA and explained the situation. They closed that account. The person that ran up the bill signed an affadavid that is was her debt. Now for year BoA continues to harrass my mother over collections. Every time she explains the engine situation to the collection agency they agree this is not her debt and give it back to BoA. Even BoA employees agree the debt is not hers. Now the collection agencies are calling me. I also have an excellent credit history. I tell them this is not her phone # this is not her debt they have no right to harass me to no avail. After they speak to my mom they give it back to BofA and another agency and they start calling me again. I am not doing any business with BofA and in fact am making my complete dissatifaction known to all. After reading all these other complaints it just affirms that BofA is not a reputable company.
