CCU Scam - asking $225 for annual reporting in te name of the State

Deceptive mail solicitations from a private company listing a Denver post office box as a return address. The mailing has an official looking seal on the top right of the form, and quotes the Colorado Revised Statues to sound official. The mailing is titled Periodic Report and warns businesses that failure or refusal to file will result in a penalty. Corporate Controllers Unit then offers to file for a business for $225. However, in most cases, the Colorado annual fee is just $10 if you file directly with the Secretary of State.
