Denied Treatment

Despite pleas (in writing) from my Doctor and Cardiologist BCBS of Florida say that they will not cover this urgent medical operation I badly need and so leave me with the $27,000 bill if I go ahead and get it done. The Doctors have said that BCBS are dumb beyond belief because if I don't have this procedure done then it will likely cost them in the next 4 years over $50,000 in prescriptions for drugs that will stop immediately if I have the procedure done now. That's on top of the fact that by not having this done it will shorten my life.incidentally I pay $13,000 a year in premiums and thought I had a top of the line policy which is BCBS PPO.
