Emergency Care USA, Roswell Emergency Care Complete fraud - Misleading medical group

I went to Roswell Emergency Care in Roswell GA, now out of business. When I walked in the first thing I asked is if they take Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and they said, yes we do. I went in for Joint pain that I was having and they gave me a steroid shot and some pain medication. A few months later I recieved this outragous bill for $437.00, this does not include the the $100.00 copay I had already paid for. So my total bill was $537.00 and BCBS covered about $120.00 of that, which is about right for a doctor's visit. Not once did they mention that they were not contracted with BCBS, which I thought was required. I now owe $781.16 to a collection agency because they said I signed the paper stating that I would cover all charges not covered by insurance. This is complete fraud because they said that they took BCBS, when they really didn't. Everyplace I've ever been that didn't accecpt a certain insurance would tell you that, if they were not contracted they would say "we don't take that insurance. I would leave knowing that my insurance would not pay for it. I saw Jim's coments and agree with him. Emergency Care USA should be charged with fraud and whatever charges fit them. I would be happy to join someone in a lawsuit or something that could put them out of business. Also the name of the collection agency calling me is NCS in Scottsdale, AZ. This woman that works there is a complete tool, she's threatening to sue me as we speak and said it would cost me an additional $595.00 to get served. This message is just a heads up to anyone that's been in contact with this organization.
