My mom added me to her account as a authorized user and she hasn't been able to pay her bill. I am now being harassed by the creditor saying I am a joint person on her account. I never signed anything to be on my moms account. I was informed I would be a authorized user only. What should I do to have my name removed total from her account? Will I have to hire an atty to have my name removed? My mom has told the company serveral times, I wasn't suppose to be a joint person on her account only an authorized user. My credit is being affect because of Walmart GE Money Bank and I am not happy. So how can this matter be fixed?
