Trying to collect 1200.00 for an item I bought before 2002 for 174.00 and paid for!

This so called company has called my brother and threatened to serve me with a lawsuit if he didn't give them info as to where I am. My brother being the smart man he is, told them he will take their number and give it to me. He called me and explained all this to me. I called the number and they said they never threatened a lawsuit, they are just collecting on a bill I had from well before 2002 in the sum of 1200.00... It is 2011 I told the man! I told the man he was basically crazy and to prove it to me. I will not give anyone that kind of money over the phone. This was supposed to be on an item that I originally paid 174.00 for. I told the man, Larry Feltz was his name that he gave me that I still have the dresser and he could have that if he wanted and I laughed at him!!! I told him maybe I will even report it to the police if they keep contacting me. He didn't say anything else but, we will try and dig up your original info and get back to me. They will probably try and get back to me in another 3-5 years. After my phone conversation, I recalled dealing with this company before, they tried this about 3-4 years ago for the same thing. All I can say is, they are scam artists!!! Report them here or to your police dept.
