Ripoff this so called $6000 debt had been paid 20 years ago!

I received a piece of mail a week ago marked URGENT. It was from Whitewing Financial informing me that I owed them $6000.00 from some credit card that I'd paid off in 1985. They told me that they would take $1400. To settle. Being almost 20 years ago, it took me awhile to remember but this debt had been paid. These people are SCAM artists and something should really be done about these guys.
