Ripoff They are Zombie Collectors!

Ok, folks, here is what Whitewing Financial is doing. They are called "Zombie Collectors." These are companies that buy bad debts for pennies and squeeze you to pay in flagrant violation of federal law. These debts are obviously either fake (as I have read here) or REALLY OLD.

They called me about a 21 year old Montgomery Ward account. Even if the debts these idiots are calling about were valid at some point, they are long since gone from credit reports. Whitewing CAN NOT sue you (the statute of limitations is usually from 3-7 years in most states) or really do anything else to you.

Don't talk to them and don't pay anything! The only thing you SHOULD do is to check your credit reports and make sure Whitewing has not tried to put anything on those reports. If they do they are in violation of federal law. Here is an article about people like Whitewing:
