Residential Relief Foundation LLC, sends out marketing letters that scare, intimidate, and could ultimately cause HEALTH problems for someone who already has a heart problem. My mother received 2 letters from this company, and they use very creative SCARE TACTICS to try to get people to respond to their offer. They list that she has a 'MODIFICATION CASE NO.' leading her to believe that her mortgage has already been turned over to this company, and they use the phrase, 'the Federal Government', leading one to believe that the government has something to do with their business. The letter is typed on LEGAL sized paper and at the top in bold, all caps, it says: 'FORECLOSURE STIMULUS UPDATE', again, misleading a person receiving the letter that they are already working on something regarding their mortgage. My mom has heart problems and recently had a stroke, and both times she received this literature from this company, she became VERY UPSET and called me. This is FALSE ADVERTISING to try to make out to be something you are not. I was not surprised that there were 8 other complaints on complaint because companies that do not use integrity in advertising, are just tricking people to do business with them. This company needs to be investigated and their marketing needs to be reviewed. They even have a SEAL in the right hand corner with their name around an Eagle making it appear to be governmental. There are un-true statements in the letter as well, for example: 'Our records indicate that you are SERIOUSLY DELINQUENT on your mortgage'. THIS IS FALSE, and should not be allowed!!!
